MUSEUM SCHOOL COLLABORATIVE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Museum School Collaborative Board of Directors follows a consensus model and follows the Brown Act. The Board is responsible for governing the school, and has a duty to look out for the long-term well-being of the school. The Board is responsible for addressing major matters including: setting the school’s general policies and overall curriculum policies; approving and monitoring the annual budget and financial procedures; fund-raising; hiring and evaluating the Executive Director; approving personnel policies and monitoring their implementation by the Executive Director; assuring that the charter school(s) fulfills its charter contract; and, strategic planning. All meetings are open to the public and subject to the Brown Act. If you are interested in becoming a Board Member, please contact the school’s Executive Director, Taylor C. SCHOOL SITE COUNCIL – PARENT FORUM
The school shall encourage parent participation in decision-making through School Site Council Meetings. The School Site Council is a group of teachers, parents, and classified employees that works with the school to develop, review and evaluate school improvement programs and school budgets. The membership of the SSC shall represent all major stakeholders in compliance with applicable law and in order to provide a forum for stakeholder voice and input on school development as it relates to building community, accomplishing school goals, and reaching the mission of the Museum School. The SSC will also provide feedback and input on the LCAP and the LCAP Federal Addendum.
