Ready to inspire your child's creativity? The Museum School is excited to announce our open enrollment for the 2026-2027 school year, beginning this October.
We are also still enrolling students for the current 2025-2026 school year.
You can find available tour dates below, on our main page, or on our calendar. We hope to see you at one of our tours!
Thank you for your interest in the Museum School.
We are honored that you may consider us for your child’s educational choice. As a small school, we strive to accommodate as many students as possible. We do receive a large number of applications each year and work with an outside agency to ensure the fairest possible outcome for all applicants.
Museum School is open to all students, on a space-available basis, and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, creed, sex, ethnicity, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age, ancestry, special need, proficiency in the English language or academic achievement.
All prospective parents are required to fill out an online application and are encouraged to attend a school tour (listed below) to be entered for the lottery. Application Deadline is Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 2:00p.m.
A supervised, public lottery will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:00p.m. to determine placement in classes and rankings on the waiting list.
Parents may continue to submit applications after the lottery date to be added to the waitlist.
Admission preferences in the case of a public random drawing shall be given to the following students in the following order:
First priority for admission will be given to siblings of students admitted to or attending the Museum School, and children of the Museum School’s employees and Board members.
Second priority will be for students who attend or reside within the attendance area of Florence Elementary School. Museum School is located within the Florence Elementary attendance area.
Third priority will be for students who reside in the boundaries of the District.
Please note that Senate Bill 277 now requires that all students entering Kindergarten and 7th grade have all required immunizations before the start of the school year. There will be no new waivers for personal beliefs. For more information on the changes, please visit the Shots for School website.
